Design
Metro Sign and Awning has the ability to see your unique vision into reality. Our expert team of designers works closely with you to create a finished product that reflects both you and your client’s vision. Whether your design is conventional or out of the box, we have the capability to create an aesthetically pleasing and structurally sound design that meets your needs. From branding to architectural signage, our team of professionals can do it all.
Fabrication
At Metro Sign and Awning we employ the latest technology and fabrication techniques to ensure that the finished product is completed quickly without sacrificing quality. Our exterior sign fabrication includes all dimensional lettering, freestanding pylon and architectural wayfinding signage systems, high-pressure laminate paneling, roof mounted signage, channel letters, metal fabrication. Our canopies include custom metal fabricated systems, awnings, enclosures, banners and fabric signage. We also offer code compliant and aesthetically pleasing ADA interior signage including room identification, wayfinding, directories and corporate branding.
When it comes to the safety of your clients’ building, Metro Sign and Awning focuses on tamper-proof signage for interior environments that is vandal resistant. We cover a variety of needs that your client may have including graphics and wall coverings, as well as temporary signage, all with time and cost efficiency in mind.
Turnkey Installation & Project Management
Our shop, drawing, and submittals process includes a developed sign schedule that correlates with typical design per sign type. We offer clients sample and prototypical packages that includes material swatches, color confirmation, full-size sign types produced for architectural and owner approval. We also provide exterior sign permit acquisition and engineered stamped drawings(ESD) with calculations that include footer detail for freestanding; fastening for wall/roof mount, as well as blocking requirements.
As an architect, we know the little details are always on your mind. That’s why Metro Sign and Awning makes it our priority to focus on every aspect of the design, fabrication, and final product including:
- Technical Survey – verify field conditions prior to fabrication/release – update production prints
- Phased projects / separated mobilizations (obtain C of O as various buildings and/or areas are built out)
- Interior / Exterior / Graphics in-house fabrication (ability to provide progress photos and/or visit our facility in the process)
- Electrical access
- Installation of all components; project manager/site super overseeing union installation and project team to ensure safety/field requirements are met.
Our project management services include coordinating multi-sign installations in office parks, malls, universities, hospitality venues, entertainment facilities and institutional properties. We take care of the details so you don’t have to, including handling the scheduling of electricians, roofers, masons and other contractors to be sure your signs are installed on time, on budget, and according to the required specifications.

As part of every project, we offer recommendations made for ‘as built’ materials that offer lower cost alternatives at a high-performance outcome. We source all of our materials from a build-out and implement into our interior sign design for applique room identification.
