Metro Sign & Awning is currently accepting applications for an experienced full-time Outside Sales Representative:

Outside Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:

1. Be an outstanding sales professional.
2. Find, cultivate, and serve clients by selling them products and services that meet their needs.
3. Set aggressive sales goals and meet or exceed them.
4. Manage sales process from initial contact to approval of estimate to Project Management hand-off.
5. Maintain order management software and keep all records organized and up to date.
6. Provide exemplary service to all with whom you interact.
7. Become an expert on the products and services that Metro Sign offers.
8. Work collaboratively with Design and Project Management colleagues.
9. Continue to learn and develop professionally.
10. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual analyses.
11. Contribute to the success of Metro Sign wherever you can.
12. Conduct yourself and represent Metro Sign with integrity and professionalism at all times.

Requirements – applicant must be / have:

• Self-motivated and self-directed
• Prior experience, 2+ years, as an Outside Sales Representative
• Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
• Ability to prospect for and close sales
• Track record of achieving goals
• Problem solving orientation

Preference will be shown to candidates with:

• Sign industry experience
• Basic construction knowledge
• Microsoft Excel competency
• A college degree
• Experience using Cyrious Control sign software
