Design

Metro Sign and Awning aims to design signage that reflects your brand and addresses your needs. Our expert consultants will work closely with you to create a sign that matches your vision and your client’s brand.

From signage that stands out for all the right reasons, to ones that are compliant with all the rules and regulations, we can provide them all. We deliver signs that are designed to drive customer traffic and grow end-user brand image.

We provide interior / exterior signage for residential, hotel, corporate, private and public schools, colleges and universities, hospitals, shopping centers, casinos, entertainment, and transportation. We understand that each project requires a different type of unique base building (the signage needed for the certificate of occupancy) and branded signage / architectural elements.

Turnkey Installation

We can assist with design/engineering of specialty items in a project that our GC partner isn’t familiar with. We can take over from the GC and develop a turn-key solution such as the reception desk and glass cabinet built into granite shown for 22 Boston Wharf  and the high-pressure laminate wall system  for Suffolk University.

Cost Estimation

Metro Sign and Awning can develop an estimate based on general specifications. We offer ADD-ALT for items, where an improved approach may need to be considered by GC and presented to owner. We can create a comprehensive breakdown or cost analysis of project deliverables to provide our GC partners with visibility into product / labor break-downs needed to easily add or remove items as the project transitions into mobilization and changes scope.

Project Management

We attend and participate in site safety and flex/stretch meetings and oversee union organization / mobilization / field installation. We can create visualization to the list of deliverables related to critical paths and milestones. With us, General Contractors are more aware of trade barriers and can alter their schedules accordingly for long term build outs.

We can break out phases of project deliverables as the project progresses to ensure approvals are in place for our partners to maintain control over large project scopes with ease. MSA coordinates with other trades to ensure electrical requirements are met and signage is properly coordinated with related trades i.e. j-bolt patterns, Dig-Safe, paving, paint templates, plates and blocking prior to closing walls, etc. We update submittals, schedule of values, progress billings, and close out packages on GC Project Management Dashboard.
