2015 is shaping up to be a year of growth and challenges for Metro Sign and Awning.
One of our upcoming projects includes signage work for the very first licensed Massachusetts Casino! On this job, Metro is partnering with Penn National and their Las Vegas Vendor, Egads, to work on a sign and merchandising package due to be delivered in June, 2015.
The package includes both interior and exterior signage, plus some very spiffy graphics.
We’re very excited that Michael Randazzo of Penn Gaming selected Metro Sign and Awning as his preferred vendor in Massachusetts!
We’re also working on a cost analysis for the MBTA Green Line Extension and for Boston Landing. We’re doing this work with the Sweden-based multinational construction and development company: Skanska.
With Mark Vella’s and Tom Roger’s first-hand experience, gained working on two previous MBTA signage projects, we’re a knowledgeable vendor, having ‘worked through the kinks’ on those previous jobs. As a result, we’re very hopeful we will earn this new business, as well.
Suffolk University is also on our docket for 2015: We’re creating a 21-panel high-pressure-laminate mural depicting the Charles River. We’re also working on various exterior signs and interior signs for various locations around the campus. For the Law School, we’re doing exterior signage, digitally printed window graphics, and a variety of building-mounted banners supported on projecting arms.
And there are more projects and more new clients on their way.
For example, 2015 looks to be a year in which we will continue to grow our Design/Build portfolio with projects awarded to us by a variety of Architects and Developers during the earliest planning stages of their projects.
We will update you on all of our exciting and challenging projects during the coming months. In the meantime, we hope next year will be as good for you as it looks to be for us. For right now, however: Happy Holidays and best wishes to you, from everyone at Metro Sign and Awning, for a great New Year!
