Worcester $3M wayfinding project seeks company to create kiosks, signs and art

The city of Worcester, the second largest city in the region, is in the planning stages of a wayfinding project. The initiative seeks to help visitors navigate the city’s cultural, educational and public destinations, something the city manager says is necessary for the growth of the city in terms of cultural tourism. The project will introduce 275 signs and kiosks, as well as 24 public art pieces to greatly enhance the experience of Worcester’s 2.7 million annual tourists. Project completion is expected 18-24 months after initiation.
