Several Metro employees were at Twin River Casino in Rhode Island last week, but they weren’t rolling dice or playing slots (at least, that’s not why they went). They attended the New England Sign Expo as Metro representatives, sharing experiences, tips, and trends with hundreds of other signage professionals. Metro is Design/Build Firm for Waterside Residences

Our Team presented an incredible presentation to the owner of this fabulous new Residential Build Out in Boston, MA and we’re excited to report that Metro was awarded the sign package for this fantastic new site!   Our Design Team and Account Reps are working diligently on conceptual design of interior room signage to match all related signage for submittal of a complete sign package, returned within budget. Much thanks to our friends at Suffolk Construction and the Realestate Development Group who has decided to partner with Metro on this exciting new project.  We look forward to working with you!

6 Things I Know About Basketball and the Sign Business part I It’s March Madness. I absolutely love it. This tournament is one of the more exciting events to tune into each year. There’s something great about the small school underdog having a shot to play the goliaths of the NCAA. Not surprisingly, Hoosiers remains one of my favorite movies. As I prepared my bracket I started thinking about the similarities between coaching and being an owner of Metro Sign. It may sound odd, but those are two things I spend a lot of time thinking about. For the past nine years I have been coaching my daughters’ basketball and soccer teams as well as working in the sign industry.

Customer Spotlight: Motel 6 Partner Program in Action

Last winter the old Motel 6 / IHOP Tewksbury pylon sign came down in a bad storm. The damage was severe, and the sign needed to be replaced. The corporate office contacted Metro for a quick response to remove the massive wreckage and replace the sign. Meeting Permitting and Installation Challenges.
