This particular show offers the 4,000 or more signage industry professionals who attend plenty of collaborative peer-to-peer “Idea Exchanges,” bolstered by lectures and panel presentations, seminars, and roundtable-format discussions.

The schedule this year also incorporates the annual Apex Awards presentation, and a Digital Signage Experts Group. There’s also a link-up with the Society for Experiential Graphic Design’s full day educational program for architects and interior designers.

Google and Toshiba headline an eclectic group of more than 200 signage industry exhibitors at the 2015 Digital Signage Expo. To us, shows like this let be kids in a candy store all over again, because every one of the exhibitors will be striving to offer something new, something different, and something better than what we signage professionals already know and understand.

And that’s a good thing, because digital signage is becoming increasingly important. It is not only a highly beneficial retrofit to existing built environments, it is also being specified more and more often as an integral part of new buildings and people-oriented facilities.
